Lubin Exhibition
Lubin Exhibition
This exhibition presented the life and work of the early film pioneer Siegmund Lubin. The exhibition consisted of two elements: the large-scale wall marquee and the filmstrip inspired content band. Historic artifacts and a video monitor were included in the exhibit so the content band was designed to hang off the wall and create the necessary depth for objects and technology. The content band was fabricated as a series of plywood frames with mounting flanges and Velcro preinstalled. A custom installation tool was developed to be attached to the wall and was used to align the content frames as well as apply the graphic panels.
